Hello Wamu Members!

Welcome to the Wamu Sacco official website, where you will find useful information and updates about our Savings and Credit Co-operative Society. We are still developing the website, which will take us a while. But once we accomplish this project, it will be a useful link to Wamu members.

All along, we have been finding it difficult to provide updates to all members. As a result, most Wamu members have lost track because they don’t get to know what is really going on within the society. Indeed, they are right. This is largely because we had not established proper communication channels to pass on new developments to all the members.

Recently, we had an executive committee meeting in which we resolved to undertake a website development project aimed at improving our PR (public relations). Since most of the Wamu members can access a computer, it will be easier to get the information from our website. For those who don’t have access to computers, with a smartphone and internet connection, you can also get the updates.

Initially, this website will comprise of an information resource centre and inspirational success stories from Wamu members. But as we move on, we intend to grow it into a site that will provide every member with instant information concerning their savings and loans. We shall also use it to market our products, not only to existing SOS staff and former SOS staff, as it has been, but also to other people from different walks of life.

There are several benefits to you as a member but the following are the most noticeable.

What’s Your Responsibility as Wamu Members?

Your greatest responsibility will be to visit the website frequently if you need to know what is going on in the society. Secondly, managing a website requires information. If you have a success story to share with us, kindly do so. A photo speaks a thousand words. Send it! We shall all of us appreciate your contribution.
