Our Roots

Wamu Sacco started in 2001 as an SOS Uganda Staff Savings Scheme and Welfare Society by the staff members of SOS Children’s Villages Uganda.

We have a wide range of products from which members have benefited greatly. They include products like savings, advances, short and long-term loans.

Services

Members access services through our committed staff, who are available during working hours and can also be contacted any time through their contacts.

We Are Like A Family

Initially, Wamu membership composed of only SOS staff. Over time, it has evolved to include former SOS staff and members from other walks of life as well. Though situations may have changed, our Wamu family spirit hasn’t. Wamu continues to be a home where we meet as family members and get financial support.
